1) Get the Michael Jackson attire! You need the smooth soled shoes and the suave suite to pull off the moon walk.

2) Find the perfect moonwalking surface, polished wood is pretty much perfect for the job. If you don’t have access to a wooden floor try looking for tile floor or even a good thick carpet!

3) Lift your left leg so it is in a perfectly straight line, with only your toes touching the floor. you should position your left leg around a foot behind your right.

4) Slide back your right foot till it is level with your left foot.

5) Once you have got your feet level snap your left foot down while instantaneously raising the right in to the straight leg position.

6) Repeat with with alternating feet positions as long as desired!

7) Once you have got the foot movement down, try bringing in some head and shoulder movement to perfect that moonwalking effect that Michael Jackson perfected!
