<p>When you are looking to repair a CD oyu will have to remember that this technique does not always work. Fortunately if this does not work, and you really want the data off the CD, you can get professional CD repair kits.  FOr those who like to repair CD&#8217;s on the cheap however, check out our repair CD&#8217;s guide!</p>
<p>1) Clean the cd with tissue paper and cold water</p>
<p>2) Dab some toothpaste on to some soft tissue.</p>
<p>3) Stroke the toothpaste slowly outwards from the center of the CD in a straight line.</p>
<p>4) Go over the entire area of the CD done with the toothpaste with a wet soft tissue, do this with fresh tissues till there is no toothpaste left.</p>
<p>5) Ensure the CD is clean and dry, then play it or put it in to your computer and try it out!</p>
